1998 hungary

2013 postcard from beautiful budapest
i attended 2013 laureate of open society awarded by george soros to my hero fazle abed- what a beautiful city, i could imagine how at turn of 1900 it nurtured great mathematicians eg see my father's biography of von neumann - but what happened next -europe imploded at its borders due to eu/us mishandling of eg libya,  and civilisation in budapest lost so much that by 2019 soros had to move his 30 year old university -central european - from budapest to hungary- i am just a long distant observer celebrating peoles loving each others places - that said my memory of budapest breaks my heart
