Description: The effort deployed by governments during and after the lockdown led observers to claim that globalization and the Neoliberal order, already shaky, have finally given way to a new state-driven nationalist model. Similarly, the power of big financialized corporations does not seem to diminish, nor previous geopolitical tensions around the world have disappeared.

Division on Globalization and Development Strategies at UNCTAD
The Division promotes policies at the national, regional and international level that are conducive to stable economic growth and sustainable development. It regularly examines the trends and prospects in the world economy, undertakes studies on the requirements for successful development strategies and on the debt problems of developing countries. It also provides technical support to developing countries in their efforts to integrate into the international financial system and to manage their external debt.
INET- Young Scholars Initiative
YSI is an international community comprised of students, young professionals, and researchers. It provides a home to students, young professionals, or others who embrace new and critical ways of thinking about the economy. YSI fosters conversation between like-minded peers and connects young scholars to the Institute’s vast network of economists.   1. thank you for all the work you did -early on in the Q&a i was asked to follow up some questions- i think it was you who asked me but if not please relay to who was moderating at about 815- i have been to unctad for 6 days 2 conferences- what i have not found is a youth library- unctad is epicentre for much future research- eg the digital cooperation panel of jack ma melinda gates guterres and one ai expert from each of 20 countries- while each meeting could be diarised as a link to new questions of an sdg curriculum its not- to start with what are the 20 most forward looking borderless sdg projects unctad has published- how do we get them in one link- then cross town to the who- one document on how tech can end virus- or to the itu where mobile billionaires meet to design the future- can one geneva student be empowered to chase up all this documents unrtil they are in one ysi link -thanks chris.macrae@yahoo.co.uk www.economistfuture.com -second question how do you all at ysi cross-fertilise with the 30 colleges soros is uniting https://osun.bard.edu/ this poses urgent challenges to new york based students
